Dr. Isabell Helen Beddow, MD

I had a great experience with Dr Beddow. She is very kind and caring doctor, she listens to you, respects your choices, helps with consultation. She patiently answers any question, explains complex medical issues the way you will understand. And what I greatly appreciate is that I was called almost instantly as I arrived, my waiting time was no longer than 5 minutes ( before that my experience with 2 other doctors was about 30 min to 1-2 hours of wait!). Dr Beddow has gentle bedside manner and always explains what she is going to do and how it will feel. She took me on my 30th week of pregnancy as a new patient and delivered my baby without any issue. She is also available for message exchange through My Health Online app, which is very convenient. You can also see after visit summary in that app, but doctor will give it print out as well. I strongly recommend Dr Beddow.

Dr. Beddow is really sweet and makes you feel comfortable as soon as she walks in the door. I would definitely recommend her. I also really liked her staff - they seemed eager to be of help and generally happy to be there.

San Mateo, CA5 star rating3/3/2010As a former labor and delivery nurse and a current operating room nurse I feel very comfortable recommending Dr Beddow and giving her the highest possible rating. Dr. Beddow cared for me last year when I was pregnant with twins. When she left the practice shortly after their birth I was very sorry to see her go. She was professional, knowledgeable, calm and kind through out my pregnancy. She never once made me feel rushed during my many appointments (a miracle considering how busy the office was) and I always felt she was truly listening to what I had to say. She also based her care on what was best for me, my children and my family, not on what was easiest for her or the office. I always got the impression that she truly enjoyed caring for patients (not always the case with OBs). I have worked with many OB/GYNS over the years and I feel Dr. Beddow is among the very best.

Dr. Beddow is an excellent Gynecologist and makes the extra effort to listen and understand the patient's needs. I have known Dr. Beddow for over ten years and am always impressed by her quality of patient care and professionalism.
