No starts , this is not  a doctor! I have been to many doctors  , but never ever doctor made me feel how i was feeling today.  I was treated  like criminal. What  Could go wrong at doctors office everything was wrong.  I was the first one that morning,  but its ok she took 2 people ahead of me.  This is ok , not the end of the world. Assistant  girl comes asks why I'm here . In one sentence i explain to her  ...in a few minutes comes the "doctor"   i said i would like you to remove small mold near my lashes. Ok  she goes,... i got some numbing thing, she cuts little thing off  gives me some aquaphor.  And she tells assistant  that i have to comeback in 2 weeks for full body checkup and  ofcourse  to see my eye. I said i would like to show  you few more thinks on my skin that bothers me if it ok. (Already feeling guilty  that asking for to much). She looks, she goes this is fine, this is fine, but this darker one she goes it should be removed. It was darker spot near my knee. I said ok… great lets remove it. She goes  I'm done with you today, you have to comeback for this in 2 weeks. (This is her words ) I ask politely,  but I'm here now, why can you just remove, she goes oh if you HAVE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS EARLIER , then would be different.  Then she mentions again that she is DONE, and its not working like that.  But then with different  attitude she changes her mind , because she knows she is wrong. You don't treat people like you do.  And i said to her is not easy now to keep coming back to doctors office, not everybody has a job, and my   copays is  $40 . I left office , i was sitting in my car for  at least10 minutes trying to figure out  wat jus happened?  And the way i feel now few hours latter ....,i need strong medication to relaxe my brain, to stop thinking about what happened today. Im in shock.  How people can work like that. You care only about money? I just got in your office and you already telling me to come back in 2 weeks. Look at all those reviews all bad, i went there because  the location, is just few blocks from my house. Never ever going to see doctor with bad reviews. And those few  good  reviews  probably from family members or friends.  I saw a lot of elderly people there, i guess  they do not read reviews. She needs to work on her etiquette and learn how to be professional in a workplace. Save your time and money avoid this place.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ilarda for almost 20 years. I have found her to be the most thorough and knowledgeable dermatologist. I completely trust her advice and treatment recommendations. Her staff is always friendly and welcoming and the office is immaculate. I highly recommend Dr. Ilarda for any and all dermatological needs.

My elderly mother needed a dermatologist. Due to her challenges walking, we went to Dr. Illarda who is close by. However the time we have wasted in her waiting room to be seen was not worth it. On the first visit, we had to wait over an hour to see the doctor. On the 2ndvisit, we had to wait for an hour and a half to be before being taken into the examination room. There they had my mom wait, wearing only a gown for another almost 40 minutes. My mom was fed up. We left without being seen. Dr. Illarda did call back to apologize later that evening. But unfortunately, it wasn't the last time it happened. During this last visit, we waited for two hours. When I asked why some patients who were arriving after we did were being seen immediately, I was told they were on a Fast Track program. Again, after two hours of waiting we left - our 4th and last visit. During this pandemic, her waiting room is packed with people jammed back waiting for long periods of time. Every time… there, there were complaining patients. Unacceptable.

Please do your self a favor and stay home if you are even thinking about going to Dr. Ilarda. Not only is her wait horrific but so is her attitude towards her staff. She belittles her staff in front of an entire room full of patients, and since her waiting room is so full she doesn’t give you the attention you deserve.
