Dr. Isam Elias Marar, MD

Very poor care. Answer for everything is more pills

An exceptional Doctor who I have seen for years. I strongly recommend anyone in need of a diabetic and internal specialist to see him.

DR. isam Marar actually listens and really cares about his patients. I have been going to Dr. Marar for about 3 years now. He is kind hearted, a great listener,and very knowledgable. He has a great laugh that brightens up my day.

Its been a year now and I am still getting better. I will never be a type 2 diabetic ever again. And I will find a doctor with a more open mind.

i think hes a swell doctor and i would recommend him to anyne. he laughs with you and he really listens to what you have to say ..does a great job with his patients.

he has wonderful bedside manner and listen to what I have to say. I really feel likes he cares and he is more than happy to send me to a specialist if needed.

I like the doctor, but his nurses and office staff are very rude and unprofessional. They sit and have conversations while you wait in line to be checked in and they totally ignore you and talk about personal things and other patients. I like to doctor but his staff makes it hard to go back.

Dr. Marar and his associates left the Alegent system. The office used to be full of patients and rude (overworked?)staff. He left about a year or two ago to start his private practice,just down the street. He has given accurate diagnoses and has a contageous laugh. He spends time with us and will linger if warranted.

His office staff is rude and when you need something faxed or a referral they tell you they have done when they have not. I wanted to go to a dr. that required a referral and they told me they had called that referral, but they never did as they said I was no longer a patient there and I was keeping them as my primary dr. after this I will not be returning there. I now have a new primary care dr. I am a diabetic and I was out of medication because of them not faxing it to the pharmacy for mail order and when they did they called and told me they had a problem with my medications. On the last visit the dr. had changed a medication and gave me samples and a prescription, but was never entered into my file so the nurse ask me where I got those samples and I told her that they gave them to me and she told me they gave me the wrong medicaiton and she gave me samples of what I was on before. Then why did the dr write a prescription for the medications that I had the samples for?
