Hard to even find the right words to describe my disappointment with this practice, but RUDE and INCOMPETENT are a good start. My dad has been a patient for years while the level of care has decreased exponentially over the last several, especially and noticeably after the departure of Dr. Rothenberg. Despite the efforts of a clearly exasperated support staff, my sister and I (health care proxies) could not even get a doctor to return almost a dozen separate phone calls about what we specifically characterized in our messages as immediate concerns we had regarding my father’s medication type, dosages, etc. as they related to his mental and physical state. Not an emergency mind you, for which we’d have obviously gone to the ER (a mantra some doctors now seem to hide behind these days). Rather, we had some relevant and personal things to discuss with them about our dad, that any qualified physician would want to know in order to make informed decisions about their patient. The fact… is they obviously don’t care. The rest of the story will go into a state filing of medical malpractice which will hopefully push these so called “caregivers” out of a profession they have no business being in. We have since moved my father to another practice.

Had my first checkup with Dr Sacramento-Ferreira. Took time with me, asked lots of questions. Was very thorough and very kind. No hesitations going back to her again.
