When my elderly father was read minted to hospital with pneumonia (HCAP) following hip surgery this doctor consulted but never discussed his findings with patient or family. Very little therapeutically indicated measures were provided to patient while inpatient. It was only after discharge nearly a month later did we learn about his assessment and plan; he had written "Poor prognosis on this frail patient with high complexity conditions. Will follow closely". Well, he DID NOT follow the patient. The patient fought daily to survive and get well. Doctor did nothing to improve outcome. Obviously his initial assessment said it all. Thanks to God, all of those who prayed, and the iron will of patient that he did indeed recover in spite of lack of appropriate medical care. Find a better doctor if you or someone you know needs a pulmonary doctor in Melbourne FL. This guy is not recommended.
