Dr. Issam Afif Daya, MD

Long story short I called with a question about something I wasn’t aware of. The lady that answered was on the defense.Would not allow me to get a word in. At the end of the conversation I say “well I just wanted to know why he didn’t inform me of that” and said “goodbye”. Knowing of course I was never going back to this facility I hung up while she was going on and on. This lady calls me again to argue and tell me that the doctor has this information on your chart ,which was the wrong information by the way. Again not letting me speak and on the defense. I wait to she stops talking and say that the information was incorrect. She then proceeds to tell me that the doctor only writes what I told him and wouldn’t make things up. Knowing I did not give this doctor that information because it was not true, I mention that to her and say but that’s okay and hang up. This woman calls me AGAIN. Knowing I wasn’t ever going back I did not answer. She leaves me the rudest message saying “do not… come back to this office again. We do not want you here because you should trust your doctor and went on and on. Very professional right? Never have I ever been treated so rudely anywhere in my whole entire life. Never have I ever been treated so rudely anywhere in my whole entire life.

Dr Daya is a caring, amazing doctor. He delivered my first daughter and is currently caring for me with my second child. He is super knowledgable and always takes the time to listen. I had a very difficult first pregnancy that was plaqued with chronic migraines, hypermeisis gravium, and preterm labor. He was there every step of the way to guide and comfort me. My labor and delivery was great and he has the best beside manners. I remember when my daughter was actually born I prayed out loud and said thank you God and I heard him say yes thank you God and amen. I know I was a needy patient but he never made me feel as though I was a burden and encouraged me along the way. I've also had him perform diagnostic and treatment laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis. I was in his office in sereve pain (after a month of looking for a pattern) on a Wednesday and in surgery on Friday. Everything ran smoothly and I can say I TRUST him fully. Now pregnant with me second baby he is exceeding my… expectations just like he always has! If you need an OB/GYN and want the best possible care then you must go see him!!
