Dr. Itzhak Fried, MD

Dr. Fried is a great neurosurgeon that I would recommend to anyone. I was having seizures every single day while taking multiple AEDs and now I have one every week or so. Not only did the surgery that I had reduce the amount of seizure drastically, but it also made my seizures less severe and the duration has been reduced as well. Dr. Fried is a neurosurgeon that I trust with my life.

The botched craniotomy this man performed on me has ruined my life. My seizures got worse after his surgery and he ignored my cries for help. I've since switched neurosurgeons and had a laser ablation surgery done. This month makes 6 months seizure free! :-) I'm also due to have a costly repeat cranioplasty this year to fix the very large dent he left me with on the side of my head, due to atrophied muscle and the carelessly misaligned titanium mesh implant he inserted (my docs say the titanium mesh is "exposed"). Finally I'll have relief from this constant right sided head pain he left me with for 4 years now post-op. (Which, he never answered what was causing the pain when I emailed and called him about this and several other unanswered questions, like why my left eyelid became permanently droopy after his surgery?) All of this is NOT thanks to you, Itzhak Fried. You've ruined my life and my self confidence. I'm praying this upcoming cranioplasty will fix your mistakes.

Dr. Fried was my neurosurgeon 22 years ago. I was having uncontrollable seizures and he ultimately gave me back my life. I don’t know how I could ever thank him. I have been a teacher for 17 years and I would not be where I am without him.
