Dr Ivan B. Anderson, MD

I would avoid this doctor at all cost. I had a couple questions about my condition, and he totally blew me off. Told me I didn’t know what I was talking about… When I was just asking a question, not making a statement. He is an arrogant and demeaning doctor.

Is it possible for a doctors office to be more pathetically incompetant than dr anderson`s office.No they are the worst of the worst.I saw Dr Anderson about 7 weeks ago. He told me that I had A-fib during a EKG.I have never been told of that before.He recommended a heart monitor. I visited the office and asked the woman at the front desk to have Dr Anderson arrange for me to get one.No response after 5 days.I called the office and asked again to please make the arrangements for a heart monitor.Anothe week went by with no resonse from this ,incompetent,pathetic office. After 3 times you would think that someone in this office would wake up and do their job.NO THEY ARE TOO LAZY. Don`t waste your time with this doctor or this dr`s office.DISGUSTING.Jack Sherman

I had my first visit with Dr Anderson yesterday and I was very pleased. He explained thoroughly what he thought the plan should be, ordered some labs and a couple of tests to make sure my heart is ok. He also had a wonderful bedside manner.

Dr. Anderson conducted a Trans-Esophageal Echo-cardiogram to take a look at my "severe" Aortic Valve 3 days before surgery and found it was only mild so he contacted the Thoracic Surgeon and cancelled the surgery based on the new information. Afterwards, Dr. Anderson took extra time to go over the results with extreme detail at the level that most physicians would not deem understandable by the lay patient, absolutely no God complex and condescension on going over medical terminology. We sat together and went over screen by screen so that I fully understood why the previous Echos were not as accurate and also how scans really depend on interpretation by the radiologist and cardio-team to come to a conclusive diagnosis, and that yes, it's possible for a condition to be considered both mild and severe. My Thoracic Surgeon who was going to do the surgery concurred that I did not need a valve replacement based on all scans at this time. I learned a lot under Dr. Anderson and he went… beyond issues just pertaining to the heart going into the whole body's health concerns where most doctors balk at talking about anything outside there immediate specialty. He has re-located to Sacramento, CA and I will miss him very much.

Arrogant, demeaning, chip on the shoulder mentality. Many others to chose from. Avoid. S. Cataldo
