Dr. Berend is the kind of doctor every wants but are hard to find, caring, communicative and really expert in treatments and advice that will improve our health and comfort for the long haul, using medicines with thought and consideration of the individual, not what the last salesperson brought into the office....he has an excellent memory and a wealth of experience and has guided me through health care large and small, including cancer and I can say Dr. Berend is the kind of doctor I trust with my life.....

Top notch physician in his prime, very smart, gets to know his patients, broad range of recommendations not just an ordinary doctor, have treated with for 5 years, sometimes office visits 2 times a month. Excellent staff medical and front office. American-European level of quality and professionalism. See a doctor not a physician's assistant whenever you can.

We went to Hallandale office and this was first doctor we encountered that did not accept insurance rate on our high-deductible policy. Every other doctor we have visited has honored the insurance rate. Instead, Dr. Bernerd's staff demanded an expensive "off the street" price before he would even see the patient. We left and visited another local doctor at half the cost. Staff not professional and not a real friendly environment.
