Ivan Borrello, MD

Ivan Borello is one of the worst provider’s out there. I don’t even feel comfortable referring to him as a “doctor.” While my father was undergoing a stem cell transplant, he became completely incapacitated, couldn’t walk or control his bodily functions, and we had no idea why. This went on for 2 straight days without Borello coming to the office to physically exam my father because apparently he was working “off site.” What kind of physician never comes to look/exam their patient in a time of crisis? It was only until we demanded that he be admitted to the hospital by the nurse (who was actually wonderful) that the problem was assessed to find out my father had an infection, causing all of his symptoms, which also led to open heart surgery. We were later told that if my father was not admitted right then and there, he would have died from this infection. I just can’t help to think that I’d Borello cared enough to physically look at my father’s condition and help him, that he wouldn’t… have been bedridden for MONTHS, with multitude of health problems that could have been addressed immediately. However, it was not a priority for Borello. It’s obvious that Borello does not care about his patients and I wouldn’t warn anyone that interacts with him regarding anything medical to ask for a different physician!

Dr. Borello spent a lot of quality time with me and talked about a new diagnostic that he may want to try along with the pros and cons of the test.

Doctor Borrello and his whole staff at the center is excellent and very attentive and actually help me w the issues I have w portal and communication. No complaints with all the staff when I am there.

He is rude with no bed side manners what so ever. Also does not know much about his field, I found out things he was telling me that were not true. Out for the money like most doctors at JHU.

A very personal physician,I felled cared for, took his time, asked pertinent questions and gave ample opportunities to ask questions. Have not had such a pleasant experience with a physician for a long time.
