Dr. Ivan Cvik, MD

Has always been professional and polite.

I made an appointment, filled out the basic paperwork that did not make a whole lot of sense to me, only to wait an hour before going back. Then, once I saw the doctor, he was pulled from the room three different times during our 10 minute appointment (I guess the employees dont know how to do anything without him) I felt like I was brought there to be sold a concierge plan of which I have no need for. I came home, threw the lab order away and am looking for another physician without the drama. Forgot to mention, if this is a physician that offers a weight loss program, why doesn't he allow the employees to do it for free?

He slammed his keyboard and didn't even look at me! He has no bedside manner whatsoever! No thank you, I'll go down the road after waiting that long.

Wow! What a rude physician. This doctor is NOT board certified as he advertises. He is simply the rudest physician with absolutely no bedside manner. He slams the keyboard while pretending to listen to you, and then says "that's all time, I can only spend five minutes with you because you have Medicare"??? Really? His license should be revoked! My insurance paid him $80.32, and my secondary paid him $56.28, which was a total of $136.60...for 4 minutes and 40 seconds at my follow up visit, and after waiting an hour and 23 minutes for him to come in the room. Then, of all things, he offered me an appointment for medical marijuana for my sciatica. Simply appalled this guy is still practicing, and pretends (Florida Healthcare News Article) he helps with hormones and weight loss. Never going back, I was made to feel like dirt there, not to mention staff is not pleasant at all and I could never get a refill on BP medicine, my pharmacy had to call three times and still didn't get… a call back.

Wish I could give this doctor "negative" stars. Worst doctor I have ever seen!!! ZERO bedside manner. Doesn't even look at you when you are speaking to him. Gave me a $300 prescription for muscle relaxers and the staff refused to ask him to prescribe something different!! Would not make another appointment with this man if he was the only doctor left in Lee County!!! And he is going concierge?? I wouldn't give him a dime.

As a new patient I was able to be seen next day. I filled out paperwork prior to going to the appointment. Had a little bit longer of a wait to get back than I would have liked. All staff was very friendly. Once through the triage and I got to see the Dr. I felt like he cared. His bed side manner was to the point. Seemed very knowledgeable of the numerous symptoms I presented. He was very thorough and spent at least 45 minutes in the room with me. I would definitely refer him as a Dr. to anyone I know.

Dr. Cvik didn't ask many questions and the forms did not adequately cover health issues. Therefore, he didn't understand my health status and didn't spend the time to get to know me or my concerns. He didn't want to refill my previous prescriptions without his own tests (even though mine were relatively current) and even after getting new labs, wouldn't prescribe any refills without a second appt. His staff is abrupt and not helpful with my concerns either. I guess I've been spoiled by having caring physicians in the past. I will be looking for another primary care provider.

Dr. Cvik is the best MD I've ever had. Always on time, any exam is very thorough, and complete. I really feel that he cares about me, and listens to me.
