My grandmother needed a tube placed in her eye that would allow the tears to drain in the nose. He had lost a tube in her eye and placed a second one correctly. My grandparents who are old and don't understand English well, didn't really understand what had happened. That misplaced tube remained in her eye for several years causing infections one after another, pus, pain, suffering, and several doctor visits. Not once did he ever follow up on his patient to see whether that lost tube is causing any problem to his patient. Just recently another doctor noticed the tube under her eye and took it out. I just came to know about it today and I can't believe this doctor was never concerned about his mishap. ATLEAST FOLLOW UP! You'll be facing lawyers soon.

Not a day goes by that I don't think of Dr. Tarle and the problems I have had with my eyes since his surgery on them in 2010. The extra that I paid outside of Medicare coverage was wasted for he did not remedy the lower eyelid situation. In addition, the anesthetic administered did not work. My eyes are extemely sensitive, there is discolored skin around my eyes, my right eye still does not close completely. I would not recommend him under any circumstance nor Magruder Eye Clinic. I would give him an overall rating of -0 if I could.

I would NEVER recommend this doctor! The most regrettable thing I have ever done is allowed him to cut into my eyelids. He has disfigured me. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, with the outcome of the surgery, he walked out of the room and discharged me and never saw me again!!! I will NEVER go to Magruder Eye Institute again... they were the ones that recommended him (to keep the $$$ in-house). If anyone recommends this man to do surgery on you... RUN in the opposite direction.

First time visit and waited about 10 minutes after they checked me in. Is he all work and no play, yes. He diagnosed me quickly, spent time explaining the options and then I was out of there. If you want a friend as a doc, probably that is not the guy. I just want a doc that has answers and is professional.

He is a part of Magruder Eye Institute which I thought was credible, but the entire staff was rude and it was like herding cattle. The nurse took us in and talked to us about the totally wrong procedure?? Then the doctor came in and as I was asking questions about the procedure, he literally put his hand up in the air to stop me and left the room mid-sentence. Terrible bedside manner...extremely cocky. You may be book smart, but can't deal with people. Magruder should look into this.
