She's everything you want in a dermatologist!

I am a woman of color who tends to have raised ugly scars when I’m cut open. I keloid very easily. It’s one of the reason that cause my depression l. I saw a lot of dermatologist/ surgeons who refuse to cut me due to the way I heal which I understand can mess up their artistic stitch work in a way. I came across Dr. Ivy DeRosa’s office while in the yardley area. She’s very sweet, attentive, and take the time out of her busy doctor schedule to weigh the pros and cons of me healing. I had a cyst that was getting too big on my right chest area that I need it out. Let me tell you! After the procedure she stitch me in a way that it look like a straight line and I kept up with it and do silicone scar remover and no keloid scar!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DERMATOLOGIST IF YOU ARE IN THE YARDLEY/BUCKS AREA!!!! She’s great and her little asian assistant Sam is always on point and always happy!!!!!! I am a happy patient!!!!

Dr Derosa is a good doctor only issue is she only practices 2 days a week so getting an appointment is difficult even if you are an existing patient.

I switched dermatologists and went to Dr. DeRosa's office for the first time. She was knowledgeable and thorough. I felt her bedside manner was good. I really don't have any complaints. Even the office staff was nice and I did not have to wait at all. Overall, very good experience!

Bucks County Plastic Surgery & Dermatology and Dr. Derosa are fantastic! First, the wait time is short which is awesome! The staff is top notch, super friendly and organized. I am a new patient at the Newtown office and was able to schedule a next day appointment (my husband’s dermatology office in Yardley wouldn't take me for over 5 months). New patients’ forms and info can be filled out electronically at home before your appointment so you don’t have to spend 15 minutes doing it when you get there. Yay technology! Dr. Derosa diagnosed my problem and completely alleviated the fears I had that it might have been something worse. She was very thorough especially with my take-home instructions. She has a great personality and a great sense of humor. Special thanks to Dee at the Doylestown office. She went above and beyond to arrange for Dr. Derosa to call my prescriptions in to 2 different pharmacies which saved me $90. Dee was one of the happiest and most genuinely friendly… people I've encountered at a doctor office (and she remained happy and friendly even after I called her 5 times). I’m going back for a follow up and a routine exam which I will now make a regular part of my health regimen. So happy I found Bucks County Plastic Surgery & Dermatology and Dr. Derosa.

I recently switched to Dr. DeRosa from my prior dermatologist at Main Line Dermatology. I found Dr. DeRosa to be extremely knowledgeable, having an excellent caring manner, explained thoroughly all aspects of her examination of me and was diligent in following up to make sure that my surgical area healed properly. I give her the highest recommendation.

I see Dr. DeRosa for general skin checks because my family has a history of melanoma. After a few visits I recommended my mom go also. She had the same great experience and now my entire family goes to see Dr. DeRosa. She's considerate of your time (low wait compared to other dermatologists), has a pleasant personality, and also found an atypical mole that my last doctor did not address.
