Dr. J.R. Harden was born in St. Louis, MO. He first lived in Houston during his high school years, where he attended Westchester and Memorial High Schools. He received his B.S. in chemistry from Westminster College in Fulton, MO and his D.D.S. from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Harden returned to Houston after graduate school and opened practice at his current location. He is the father of 3 sons, his eldest Jeffrey joining him in Dental practice.
Dr. Harden has been a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the AmericanAcademy of Computerized Dentistry, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy ofGeneral Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the GreaterHouston Dental Society. He has completed mini-residencies in both orthodontics and periodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston - Dental Branch.
Dr. Harden was one of the first dentists in Houston …to use the Sirona CEREC porcelain CAD/CAMsystem and continues to attend CE courses in this disclipline. He utilizes Cerinate Lumineers, ZOOM! whitening, and all-porcelain substrate crown techniques to achieve customized cosmetic smiles.
