Dr. Mocco is truly an amazing Doctor. I had a brain aneurysm and Dr. Mocco clearly explained to me the several procedures that would entail going forward until an angiogram of my brain aneurysm produced more detail. We went forward with a procedure of inserting a coil into my brain aneurysm and Dr. Mocco made me feel knowledgeable and comfortable with the procedure throughout. I am truly grateful to Dr. Mocco.

Spends little time with patient. Very disinterested and arrogant. Waited 3 months for a 20 minute video visit. Extremely disappointed.

3 months to get an appointment. Spends 20 minutes on a video call. Refers me to the most arrogant neurologist I've ever been to. Refuses to answer my calls for 2 weeks. Finally calls me back and spends 5 minutes to tell me he can't help me and to find someone else. A very self-important individual who couldn't care less about his patients.

Dr. Mocco is an amazing individual. He is brilliant and caring and explains everything in layman's terms. He is patient, kind and concerned. I had an endovascular surgery to repair a brain aneurysm and fistula that was completely successful! I recommend him HIGHLY!

After 5 years of going to different doctors for having all kinds of symptoms, neck pain, pain on the back of my head, constant pressure in my head and neck, facial pain and swelling, painful eye, difficulty breathing among other symptoms, I was blessed to be referred to Dr. J. Mocco because he was the only doctor who diagnosed me with having Chiari Malformation, a rare medical condition. After ordering a few diagnostic tests and making sure that surgery was my only option, he preformed a Chiari Malformation Decompression with excellent results. Dr. Mocco is a caring, patient oriented, kind, brilliant doctor who explained to me everything about this condition in a simple language that anyone can understand.Even though, Dr. Mocco highly respected neurosurgeon in NYC and around the country, he is a humble person. my wife is a patient by Dr. J. Mocco for the last few months , my wife and myself came in to the hospital completely lost, but as soon as we found this very special great man Dr. Mocco we felt as if the shine of life had come back to us. I am not a good writer' had i been i would have written here a good few pages about this angel who is one of a kind not only in medical field but also with his heart that's not from flesh but rather one piece of gold. i would finish of with what i told the dr. himself, that if i would been asked where is Dr. Mocco's better in medical experience or in a wonderful personality i would not have any answer, and i believe so is the opinion of all Dr. Mocco's patients.
