Dr. Jace Paul Fullmer, DO

We had a terrible experience with Dr. Fullmer. He did very little for my son in the ER and they had to bring in a specialist, which is fine, but we still receive a large bill from him. The biggest issue was with the billing company he has chosen to use. Out of all of the providers we dealt with during this ordeal, his billing was the most aggressive, rude, unprofessional, and disorganized. They continually threatened to send us collections when we asked for some time to wait for an insurance payment. Every single provider would work with us, except for Dr. Fullmer's. I would ask for another physician if you see him walk into your ER.

Dr. Fullmer was an amazing help! My daughter was bitten on the face by a dog and needed stitches. The nearby ICH clinic suggested going to McKayDee for better cosmetic treatment. Dr. Fullmer was the right Doctor for what we needed! He calmly and carefully explained his strategy for the best way to calm my daughters panic mode and mend the cut with as little remaining scar as possible. I was very pleased with his skill and excellent care in such an emergency! Now, it's barely visible, even when we look closely. Since then, I have recommended him to some friends and neighbors. I went to Dr. Fullmer late one evening with severe body aches, fever that wouldn’t stay down and after several days of diarrhea. He took some blood and urine. I kept telling him I had been on a pic line for two weeks after a got an infection (my pic line was still in my right arm!) and perhaps he should test my stool to see if I had c diff. He asked if it was yellow and very stinky. I told him it was black and didn’t have a horrible smell. Finally he decided to take a stool specimen. He told me it would take a few days to get results and sent me home. He made me feel like I was making this all up. The next morning the ER lab called and said I did have c diff and ordered me vancomycin to begin immediately and to stop my pic line antibiotics. The next several days were among the sickest I have ever been. I certainly think an ER doc should know the signs and symptoms and the tests for c diff! I hope I never have to go to him again!
