I have known Dr Akmakjian for almost 30 years. I know him to be a great surgeon, excellent physician. He is 100% honest, approachable, attentive, caring and dedicated to his patients. He tested me for several back issues and was respectful, even encouraging, of my desire to treat non- surgically, despite being, above all, a surgeon. I highly recommend him, without hesitation.

This guy should be in jail. He preformed my lumbar fusion with non medical grade and counterfeit screws. He’s done this to hundreds if not thousands of patients, especially workers comp! Don’t be fooled by these fake 5 star reviews.

Dr. jack Akmakjian has been my neck and back doctor before over 13years and I'm gonna miss him dearly as my insurance has dropped his contract. If you have insurance that is contracted with Dr. Jack Akmakjian I strongly suggest you chose him as your spine surgeon! He has performed surgery on my lumbar spine in the past with great results! Thanks Dr Jack!

Dr. Akmakjian conducts thorough exams & listens to his patients. He discourages unnecessary medications and assists in obtaining physical therapy. My experience has only been positive.

I had a lumbar surgery by dr Akmakjian around 4 years ago so this is an update. I needed a lumbar fusion and looked in reviews to make sure that the doctor that workers comp assigned to do the surgery was good. I seen that dr Akmakjian had a lot of positive reviews so I agreed to get the surgery done. I asked around and everyone who has had a fusion that I talked to tried to talk me out of it. When I read the reviews that were positive I decided to do it since I couldn't imagine that my pain would be any worse. 2 years after the surgery I was climbing 100 foot vertical ladders. I change billboards for a living. Don't get me wrong I still have some pain but it's nothing close to the unbearable pain I suffered. Before the surgery I felt I'd never again have a normal life.4 years, Thanks to dr Akmakjian , I can have a normal working, functional life. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!
