Dr. Jack Hibler Blalock JR., MD

Excellant technical skills, with unprofessional behavor. I was hospitalize up, while being treated professional ask myself why should i put up with his behavor:swearing and verbal abuse.

Dr.Blalock is a great physician that will do what is required more efficiently than any doctor I have had in the past or since. I sadly had to move away but if you live in the area and need someone awesome to fight for you in your medical corner, Dr.Blalock is it. I really appreciate the entire work team that is at the Blalock office. They treated me with respect, honestly and compassion everytime I'd come in, especially when I have epic mental fog.

Dr. Blalock, I contacted your office, twice, for a recommended thyroid blood test. The first appointment was properly and respectfully canceled, as a result of confusion. When it was decided I needed to make a second appointment, I did so. Unfortunately, between the date I made the appointment, and the actual appointment date, I came down with the flu. I held off calling to reschedule, because I was truly hopeful that I would be able to make it. Unfortunately when I finally decided to call, no one answered, and the answering service told me they were at lunch until 13:30. I called at 13:15, they answered. I asked to cancel the appointment, and explained that I felt uncomfortable visiting your office, coughing and runny nose. I expressed I did not wish to spread my illness with other patients, and that The WHO had just declared the Coronavirus a pandemic. I was told to hold, a moment later I was told they would not accept another appointment and advised me to find another doctor. I… tried to argue that this was not my fault, and that I was trying to respect your other patients. I also told them, right or wrong, I believed I had lost my job as a result in my thyroid medication, or imbalance. Four days later there was a bill in my PO box for $75, for services not rendered. I went to pay, and hoped the fee might be waived. I have no job, and hoped my respect for your patients, would be taken into account. When I arrived, I address the woman behind the glass and asked to speak to the office manager and advised that I was there to pay my bill. She told me to sit while she finished with another patient. When I was asked to come to the glass, I had to picture prepared on my phone to show the reason why I lost my job. She told me she didn't care in a tone of contempt. I try to remind her that I had been sick and that I had been looking out for mysel and your patients. She still expressed contempt. Conversation got a little heated, and I again explained I was there to pay, but I was hoping she would reconsider. There was no one else in the office, at approximately 14:30, so the thought crossed my mind, that maybe you needed the money more than I do. I express that maybe that was the reason. Anyway, at one point, the office manager on the other side of the wall grabbed her mace/pepper spray and threatened to spray me. I told her please do! I'm sure the Optics would have been horrible. I was a patient paying a bill, for NO service rendered, who had been sick, and cancelled the appointment for that reason, and consideration of other people, and did not have a job or insurance as a result. I do realize the the charge was for cancellation, but when there is contempt, it doesn't matter how much someone might be in need. My name is Lee, if you desire to reply.

Worst bedside manner I've ever experienced. Unprofessional, rude to staff, uses profanity, tells dirty sexual jokes, always new staff, fighting with office staff in front of patients. But knows his job. If you can get pass all of that, you got a great doctor.

Dr. Blalock is the smartest doctor in his field. He is different, meaning he cuses a lot and rude, but you just have to look over that. Because he will take care of you. Heal you if it is humanly possible. He knows what he is doing. You are in good hands. Most doctors have an attitude. But your not going to the doctor for his attitude, but to get treated and healed. He is the man to go to.

Dr. Blalock has always provided excellent medical service to me and my family whenever needed. A quirky sense of humor make the office visit less stressful. Diagnosis and treatment on the spot!
