Dr. Jack L Chen, MD

Dr. Chen is a brilliant, compassionate, surgeon who found a tumor on my fiancee's spinal cord when every other doctor missed it for 20 years. He ably removed the tumor, realigned his spine, spaced his disks, and followed through in every facet of care after the 10-hour surgery. He even took the time to help me view and understand the CAT scans. We were saddened to hear of his passing. The world has lost a brilliant surgeon and compassionate individual. Our prayers and thanks go to him and his family.

Dr. Chen is the most honest and kind human being I have ever had as a physician. He will do whatever it takes to get you in the right place with the right doctor if he is not able to care for you himself. He does everything possible to avoid surgery and his staff is the most diligent staff I have ever seen in an office with referrals and follow up. He did 2 back surgeries on me and they were successful. I am sure I may have to have another with degenerative disk disease but let's hope not. If I do, I hope he is still available as a surgeon.

I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon to do my back surgery then Dr. Jack Chen. After my surgery he came to see me everyday & sat down & talked with me. HE didn't just come in & out as many doctors have done in the past, but he really cares about his patients. During the months that followed, when I needed to talk to him, he always called me back. Even if it was at 8 o'clock in the evening(after he had a full day of surgery). I can't thank him enough for what he has done for me.

Dr. Chen is an incredibly skilled orthopedic surgeon. We are so thankful he was recommended for our son's back surgery. He is professional, kind, and up-to-date on the latest procedures.

In addition to Dr. Chen's intelligence, skill, and bedside manner, he peformed our son's back surgery perfectly. We have complete trust in Dr. Chen and feel very fortunate to have found him.
