Will never trade him for another Gastroenterologist. Very caring doctor

One time the wait was quite long, possibly up to an hour.

Dr. DeVita is an excellent physician. He was attentive in listening to my unusual symptoms. He clearly explained the procedure and followed up with necessary information to make my operation less scary. I highly recommend him. He also removed my hemmoroids in just 2 office visits. I couldn't believe how painless it was.

He was a poor listener and would get things wrong all the time. He would ask about my migraines and I would say they were no better and he would write down and say aloud,"migraines are better," and no matter how many times I said things he screwed them up. I didn't like his personality; he wasn't friendly, nice or understanding. He called me back once (that was good, I guess) but he didn't know who I was and admitted it and his excuse was the file was at the other office. Then he should have calle dfor the file or something before he made a call to a person he couldn't even remember. Totally underwhelmed by him and SJ GI as a whole but him especially.
