Dr. Jack Moe Gindi, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Jack Gindi for the past 23 years. Here are reasons I think he is great: 1. Excellent diagnostician 2. Truly cares about his patients; takes copious notes, asks questions, consults with you about treatment options rather than dictating. 3. Compassionate 4. Incorporates alternative medicine in his practice (i.e., acupuncture, herbal medications such as turmeric and red yeast rice) along with traditional medicine. He took a sabbatical to learn Eastern Medicine and acupuncture. 5. Doesn't rush your exam; he's patient and takes the time to get all the information he needs to make an accurate diagnosis and answer your questions. Drawbacks: 1. Because he takes his time with patients, you may have to wait awhile to see him once you're in his office. But once he's there, he won't rush you. 2. He no longer accepts PPO insurance. If you see him, you will be covered under your out of network benefits, which means you will be balance billed. … You are also expected to pay in full at time of visit, and your insurer will let you know by their EOB how much they covered. 3. He doesn't accept Medicare. This means if you're 65 or over and don't have regular medical insurance, you'll be paying 100% cash out of pocket. We are moving out of the area, and I will miss Dr. Gindi very much. It will be difficult to find a new primary physician who can compare with him.

I myself am a surgeon. I am very compulsive about the care of my own patients and I demand the same from my own treating Physicians. Dr. Gindi delivers! He is so knowledgeable and caring. Perfect combination of skills and concern yields the highest level of care. I would not hesitate to see recommend that you see him. I understand that he is more expensive but just like anything else you get what you pay for. In this case you get a committed M.D. who has the time to help you with whatever issues you may have. You only live once and ones health is everything. Treat yourself to a great doctor!
