Dr. Jack Michael Greenwood, MD

I made an appointment with Dr Jack Greenwood as a new patient. I was given a date & time which I wrote down in my daily planner at the time of the call. 5 days before my appointment I was called by his receptionist & told that I missed my appointment that was on that day. When I explained I was told a different date and there was an honest mistake made by one the parties I was told that "No Dr Greenwood does not make any acceptions for no shows". The woman was very snarky about it and had called me back 3 time as I didn't get to the phone the first 2 times. Which tells me she just wanted to make sure to get intouch to tell me you can never be seen here! This is a very rigid policy for an MD to have especially that fact that they knew I have to deal with some very serious neurological issues and heavy pain. I can only imagine the "careless" mentality that lack of compassion this Dr has. Id be comfortable to assume hes the kind of DR that sees his patients as just numbers.

If you plan on waiting over an hour when no one else is even waiting for an appt. Youve found the right place.

Without question the most UNPROFESSIONAL office staff I have ever dealt with and I am in the medical field. I had no problem with Dr Greenwood except his tolerance and acceptance of low caliber office staff.

My mother has Parkinson and is his patient. He is very knowledgeable and kind. He works with us to adjust her medication. We do not have any problems with the receptionist. They are all kind and helpful. Two year ago, my daughter also went to him for recurrent migraines. He treated her and they have stopped.

His secretary is literally ruining my credit. Its been over 5 months since I have been there, and she has not submitted anything to my insurance. They have called her over and over, and so have I, but she just doesn't listen. Her excuse months ago was that she had the wrong mailing address for my insurance... but today I got another notice from collections. What's the excuse now lady?

As I shared with Dr. Greenwood when I told him I'd be finding another Dr., the hardest part of the 2 months spent with him to diagnose my problem was not the medical stuff, but rather the sense of indifference and lack of response from him and his office. It was extremely stressful. I've since been with another Dr. and in a few short weeks feel like I'm finally being looked after properly.

People beware! I would never bring my children to him. Like the other reviews, he's just there for the paycheck. I went to him for help and got a HUGE run around. No human compassion AT ALL! No interest to my needs.

He is just there to collect a check. He could care less about his patients and doesn't even remember his (long term) patients names.
