Dr. Jack Whitaker Grinnan, MD

Recently my husband went to Banner Gateway for emergency treatment. His medical history is complex, but Dr. Grinnan was able to quickly, expertly and compassionately relieve Russ of the extraordinary pain he'd experienced for many hours. Dr. Grinnan was truly amazing! His calm and quiet approach was incredibly soothing (very like the pilot who reassuringly and quietly makes that announcement you don't ever want to hear!) and he proceeded to take control over a procedure that had been tried several times by less experienced (but very caring) emergency room staff. There are simply not enough positive remarks to give credit to this skilled physician. He took the time to explain to the PA exactly what needed to be done in this rather complex situation, going the extra distance to be sure the PA was able to learn from this situation. It took nothing from the care Russ received, and we were both grateful to see a man of exceptional ability make the effort to pass along his knowledge and… expertise. Thank you so much!!

Had an emergency procedure done by Dr Grinnan. He was great and did an excellent job. Took his time, very patient and knowledgeable.

I was sent to emergency at Banner Gateway with a catheter problem. This doctor was sent in to see me. He did nothing other than flush the catheter never listened to what was wrong then told me to follow up with an office appointment. Problem was never resolved at hospital stay. Had further complications that same day. He was completely incompetent, unreliable and uncaring. Save yourself find someone else.
