Dr. Jack Fred Halickman, MD

I liked Dr. Halickman however his office staff is terrible. I waited 2 1/2 months for an appointment and was called at 10:30 on that day asking why I missed my 10 AM appointment. I told the receptionist my appointment was for 2 PM and I had the appointment card with that information on it. I asked to reschedule and it was for 7 weeks. Two days before my appointment I got a call telling me Dr. Halickman was going to be out of the office and I have to be rescheduled for 2 months later. I talked with the office manger who told me she would get back to me but she never did. I sent the doctor a FedEx letter but never heard back. Very poor office staff that Dr. Halickman should know about... but does he?

I have been under Dr. Halickman's care for over a decade. He is a superb doctor, takes his time with you, has great bedside manner and is a a wonderful person. I have complete confidence in him!

Dr. Halickman is a fabulous doctor. He is very caring, very smart, and a great diagnostician. He combines compassion with expert medical care. I highly recommend him to any patient who is looking for a wonderful doctor.

Dr. Halickman is the kindest, most understanding, gentle doctor I have ever seen.

When a doctor comes out to personally greet me and then thank me for being on time, it's a statement unto itself that he cares about his patients time, which is unique for the medical profession. I found the staff to be reflection of the doctors concerns.

I found the office staff to be extremely rude and short with me over the phone. I was told she wouldn't even make an appointment without me calling my own insurance company to verify my own insurance and whether the doctor wwas on our plan. When I called back the second time I talked to another office person and she was as rude and arrogant as the first person. When I said I preferred to see the doctor vs the PA she insisted that I should see the PA . Her last comment to me was perhaps you should call another doctors office. I have honestly NEVER been treated so rude. I will never go there.

The office staff are rude. They change their policy without warning. THEY WILL NOT give refills without an office visit

I totally agree with the the other review. The chubby little office manager is rude and the ultimate in dis-courteous. While the Doctor and the PA might be great, it is not worth the humiliating & degrading experience you go thru with the office manager
