Dr. Jack T Hinkle, DO

I first visited Dr Hinkle when he was recommended as a physician with the holistic approach -- treat the cause, not the symptom. He does exactly that. I was quite impressed with my first exam with Dr Hinkle -- a somewhat different experience than I was used to in other exams I've had. Recently my wife was having some problems that had not been solved, and knowing that I had a high opinion of Dr Hinkle, she and I both made appointments with him, she to try for a solution to her problems and I for a routine examination. He found issues with my health that I was not aware of. (I'm 80 years old.) Some have been solved with natural substances, and are effective. In addition he referred me to other m.d.'s. for two issues, and both have been resolved. In the process of getting around a bit in the hospital, I found he is well thought of by the nurses, physician's assistants, and other staff at the hospital; they both like him and say that he is a fine doctor. My wife's… problems were diagnosed by Dr Hinkle, and the causes of her symptoms are being treated effectively. She, too, is quite pleased to have found Dr Hinkle. I am too --she is definitely finally improving. When speaking with him, he is lucid with his explanations of what our problems are about and with how the prescribed treatment works to resolve them. He doesn't push any procedure or substance--just gives us all the facts and we make the choices. He does not hurry, but is patient and is a gentleman. Definitely recommended in my opinion.

During my visit I asked this Dr how is he doing he said he was doing good, did not ask me . I ask you to think about this, new patient. Then he goes on vacation ,No one calls and lets you know of an alternative Dr. I was also supposed to have some herbs for me the following week. NO ONE CALLED ME NO ONE, what a joke office this is. It starts at the top. I did not feel this guy cared about me as a patient.

Dr. Hinkle is an excellent physician with a caring manner and sincere belief that his patients deserve the very best in health care. My family had Dr. Hinkle as our family doctor for many years in Michigan. When we moved to this area, we were so happy to have our favorite doctor back.

I just had my first visit with Dr. Hinkle today. I was extremely happy with my visit, and feel that Dr. Hinkle was able to diagnose and address my difficulties with my tick-borne illness better than any other physician has been able to do over the past 6 months. I look forward to finally finding success against this disease with the help of Dr. Hinkle and his extensive natural and western medical experience and knowledge along with his varied treatment protocols. So relieved to have found this great doctor here in Southern Utah!

Although Dr Hinckle has a good bedside manner, He seems to be more interested in selling my sister unnecessary homeopathic medications.

I was a patient of Dr. Hinkle's for approx. 15 years before he left his practice in Michigan. In fact, he treated my entire family. I have never had such excellent care by another physician. He identified food allergies that were making me very ill. He also treated me for severe diverticulitis which eventually he recommended I have surgery for. Dr. Hinkle is an excellent doctor! I literally trusted him with my life.

I've experienced side effects with several prescription drugs and have been looking for a Doctor that would help me with alternative medicines. I've been happy with Dr. Hinkle and his office staff. They are all good to work with
