Welcome, and thank you for considering the dental office of Jack M. Hosner, D.D.S. Our main objective is to help you achieve your personal dental goals. Our practice is prevention oriented and dedicated to providing superior dental care in a friendly,
comfortable, and efficient manner. We want to help you maintain a healthy mouth that will feel and look good all your life. The complete exam is our first step in providing this care. It allows us both to understand your particular dental needs so that treatment can be custom tailored to treat these needs. Of course, if you have any emergencies or immediate concerns, these will be addressed first and foremost.
In order to prevent dental disease, the active disease if any, must be evaluated and eliminated. Therefore, we must have a complete picture of your present oral conditions, as well as insight into your dental and medical history. We will be making a thorough evaluation of existing and potential problems, taking the necessary x-rays …and examining the oral tissues for decay, gum/bone disease, cancer and any other problems.
We feel it is important to discuss our examination findings with you, make recommendations for treatment, discuss how many dollars will be involved, and mutually decide which path to take.
Dr. Hosner, with the help of his wife, Sharon started this practice literally from the ground up in 1996. He is originally from Vicksburg, Michigan and is married with 4 children. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Kalamazoo College in 1988 where he was an All-American in tennis and received the college's scholar athlete award. His Doctorates Degree was from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1992 where he graduated in the top quarter of his class. He regularly attends continuing education courses to keep up to date on the current materials and techniques of dentistry so as to provide you with the most quality and comprehensive care. Magnification (3.5x to 4.5x) and a headlight are used to deliver precision dentistry in the small areas of the mouth. Dr. Hosner is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Society, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He works with a small, experienced, and knowledgeable staff which includes a receptionist, a hygienist, and a dental assistant.
