Dr. J. David Kunberger, MD

Bad day? Or just bad doctor?! Horrible attitude! Will find another doctor.

Dr. Kunberger has a horrible bedside manner and acts like he really don’t care about his patients . He dislikes many other physicians not to mention his own patients by making jokes openly putting them down with staff. This doctor is very unprofessional and not recommended.

Bad bedside manner

I was asked if it would be ok for a student to examine me before Dr Kunberger would come in. I agreed. During our examination I remembered that I had a mole I wanted check. Last year I had a pre-cancer mole removed. She said no problem and said she would let Dr. Kunberger know. After she left the room a couple of moments later I heard Dr. Kunberger say in an elevated voice "I don't understand why people wait till the last minute, and then come in here with a laundry list of things". I will be looking for a new doctor that has time to listen to my concerns.

I found myself needing a new physician as mine has moved on. It took a few phone calls to get assigned to Dr. Kunbeuger. I was nervous going in but I walked out very happy to have him as my new Physician. He listened to my concerns then spent close to 30 - 45 minutes with me explaining the dangers of my condition and how I can affect it on a daily basis. In addition, he discussed each medication I have been on and why it is necessary. Exactly what I would hope for in my physician. Highly Recommend.

Work 72 to 84 hours a week now at a job I've been at over 6 years. With all the stress in my life and no time to deal with it i went to see him in hopes of getting either fmla or an hourly restriction for stress,depression, high blood pressure or any of my many problems. I didn't want pills, or medication, just a break to get my stuff together and he was only interested in medicating me. Very disappointed in his lack of care. I'm switching doctors now.

I think he is a good doctor, takes the time to listen and answer questions. I would reccomend him to anyone looking for a new doctor. We need more doctors like him.

I do not think the Doctor understood why I was seeing him, he made some assumptions that were not correct. I could not connect with him. I was sent to a specialist and the correct updated paper work was not sent to him by the nurse so the new doctor did not make his recommendations based on update information.

Dr. Kunberger cannot function without his computer telling him what to do. Hes not good at listening to actual symptoms. His nurse also does not put info into the computer correctly.
