Helped me recover from a terrible condition that kept me bedridden.

I give Dr. Lam all five stars in every area. He made a difference in my life after I spent nine months in unbearable pain. When I first met him. I was angry and did not have trust in anyone to help me to get a grip on the pain I was living with day in and day out for nine long months and after doing to seven doctors for relief. Which they refused to give me any pain meds. Saying they did not know what they were treating. My whole world was turned upside due to it. It still is, but the difference is I have learned to deal with it and to accept it is what it is. since there is no cure for my injury now. Dr. Lam, understands when I am down and he try to help me to look at the bright side of life. I have what is Called CRPS and there is no cure for it. Just comfort. Some days I am bummed out about it. Even so Dr. Lam always remind me to keep my head up and keep using my limp so that it do not contract any worse. He has so much patient even when I was angry he was patient with… my feelings.. I want to thank him for been so kind and patient with me when at the onset I know I was not kind due to my pain and angry of running around trying to find help for it. I WOULD RECOMMEND DR. LAM TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND HAVE. I trust him with my care and know that he has my best interest in mind. what I like about him too he does not try to push pills down my throat. Me been one that do not like a lot of pills I thank him for that. He really take the time to listen to me as his patient and help me to come up to ways of coping with my pain without the pills use all the time. FIVE STARS ACROSS THE BOARD IN EVERY AREA INDEED!!

I met Dr. Lam, about 8 years ago. When I first met Dr. Lam, I had been in pain for 8 months and had been to 8 different doctors. I was a very angry person and did not feel good about myself. There were times I wanted to fall asleep and never wake back up, because of the pain I was having. I was injury on my job. The first doctor I saw sent me to intense PT right away. Every section was completed and at the end of the section I started swelling and the pain was worse. When I returned to him for why was this happening, he had no answers and refused to give me anything for pain, because he told me he did not know what he was treating. I was forced to seeking help from another Doctor who was able to tell me what was going on in my body and there was no cure for it just comfort from the pain. I will say that was Doctor number two, three, four, five, six, who did not give me anything for pain. seven who said that my only relief was a pain clinic. Dr. Lam was my eight doctor and that was… still a process of getting there, by that time my pain was unbearable and as I stated I was angry, had suffered many sleepless nights. Dr. Lam was so reassuring that I would be ok, but I must admit I did not trust him at first, because of all of the other doctors I had been to. I decided to give him a chance. With me been angry he understood and helped me to work on those feelings, because it was not doing my pain any good to be in that state of mind. After a couple of visit I calmed down, because I felt that I could trust him and he had me as a patient in mind and was concerned about the pain I had been sitting with for so long. Dr. Lam's methodology related to pain management and relief, he's also a very personable medical professional. And have great bed side manners. I never felt rushed or hurry with my concerns. He always took the time to listen to me and how I was feeling. Dr. Lam was heaven sent to me, because I had really came to the end of my road with my pain. I was on the edge by then, because my whole life had been turned upside down from my injury. He has taught me coping mechanizing and understand that I am not one who want to be loaded with pain pills all the time. And I thank him so much for helping me to get a handle on my pain. Do I still have pain. YES and always will, but I understand it better now and It is bearable and I do have what I need to take the edge off when I can not bare it. Dr. Lam is a doctor I would recommend to all of my friends. I want to thank him and the team that works with him in Clinic at Rex Pain Management. They all are very caring and concerned about me when I have my visit. Thank you again Dr. Lam for always been there for me when I need you. You have helped me to get through some rough days and nights.

I went to Dr Lam. He was very rude. Only spent a few minutes with me and set up several types of shots. I recieved no relief. I had an reaction on the 1st trigger points and he acted scared by saying it wasn't anything I did. Finally after me saying that I wasn't saying he did something wrong he said he aggravated a nerve and the symptoms would resolve in a day or so. This happened again during an epidural. I don't trust him and neither should you. If he's not happy with your insurance or outcome or diagnosis he becomes very nasty and dangerously incompetent

Dr. Lam is an expert at medicine and also a good comedian. This is not what I usually look for in a doctor (comedian) but it works for Dr. Lam. He, the nurses and assistants are compassionate and professional. I was treated so good by everyone from front desk to the people giving me a snack to the person helping me leave the building. The ablation procedure is still working to control pain and I am over 8 months out.

Dr was very rude entering room , asked me questions that I was trying to explain Rolled his eyes at a diagnosis that another Top rated gynecologist diagnosed me with as if I made it up . Continued to be rude through out the questioning of why I was there . I have NEVER experienced such a attitude with a young doctor who obviously needs to be more sympathetic with people who are there for his help and knowledge in the problem I've been having .. I will never return nor would I recommend this Dr to anyone .

Dr. Lam is not only very effective in his methodology related to pain management and relief, he's also a very personable medical professional. He is one of those rare doctors that will actually take the time to listen to a patients unique set of circumstances related to the cause of the pain. In every area of chronic and severe pain, with which I've been suffering, that we have addressed so far, he has been able to provide me with substantial and significant relief management. I am overwhelmingly confident and pleased to have Dr. Lam as my pain management physician.

Dr. Lam is an amazing professional- he listens to his patients, is engaged, works with you to come up with a plan for a pain-free future. Of all of the doctors I have seen in the past 2 years to figure out what was wrong, he and Dr. Chuili at Rex were by far the best. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done to help me.
