Dr. Jack Chandler Mcgeachy, MD

Dr. Jack Chandler McGeachy seems to have no sense of urgency or care for his patients. I had the worst experience with him. He’s not a thorough doctor. He does not explain things well. And his body language speaks volumes as well. His tone is very nonchalant as if he wish he was doing other things besides helping save lives!!!! I saw him twice within two days and he basically was trying to change his story from what he told me from the day1 when I did a follow up in a different doctor was trying to tell me something else. He tried to side with the other doctor which contradicted everything he told me on day 1. I do not ever recommend him to any patients. If you do not want to be a doctor then simply hand your license over. But do not mistreat patients, and disregard their health concerns and give half care. That is TERRIBLE. I’ve never done reviews on doctors but I will start from this day forward. ALL patients deserve EXCELLENT care.

I had a horrible experience with "Dr." McGeachy in the emergency room. He lacked empathy, bedside manner, competence, and professionalism. Without going into specifics about my issue, he repeatedly told me that was my concerns/opinions about my situation were wrong (I am in medical school, for reference) and was unwillingly to do my procedure. He repeatedly referenced scientific studies that backed his reasoning and used medical jargon the entire time. Thank goodness I was not a layperson or else I would not have understood a word. Additionally, he refused to make eye contact with me throughout the entire encounter which was extremely uncomfortable. When I finally CONVINCED him that I wanted the procedure, he slapped on some gloves and said, "FINE, if you want to do it lets go ahead and do it! But I don't agree with you" and I immediately requested another physician. My family member and I were both absolutely appalled and disgusted that he treated a patient this way.
