Dr. Jack Ray Mercke, DMD

I have been a patient of Dr. Jack Mercke for several years, and I've been very pleased with the dental services that I've received, which has included regular checkups and dental crowns. Similar to my prior dentists, Dr. Mercke is busy with several patients when I am in his office, however, he has provided me with the attention that I have needed to meet my dental needs.

Jack Mercke is a terrible dentist. He fitted me with dentures that would not fit and it was painful to eat. He never helped rectify my problem and he quit taking my calls. I am stuck with terrible dentures that hurt and cannot eat with.

"Jack Mercke, Olde Mill Family Dental, is an inept, money-grubbing 'supposed' dentist. After having been brought before the Commonwealth of Kentucky and sanctioned by the Kentucky Board of Dentistry, Jack Mercke unfortunately moved from Kentucky to our trusting Cobb County and we have unwitting, and ignorantly welcomed Jack Mercke into our trusted Cobb County family. Jack Mercke has caused me financial ruin should I wish to pursue re-corrective procedures necessary to be able to eat like a "normal" person. I am a Certified Nurse Assistant, a recent widow, and I make no more than $12.50/hr and I will not be able to afford to repair Jack Mercke's negligence in my case . For the rest of my life I will have to live with what Jack Mercke did to me. Do NOT use Olde Mill Family Dental (Old Canton/Roswell Road - next to the Neighborhood Walmart, 30062) I am a life-long resident of East Cobb County. I made an extreme and unfortunate decision to choose to solicit the services of this local, inept dental office, Olde Mill Family Dental, specifically speaking, the work done by Jack R. Mercke, DMD. After saving and spending several thousands of dollars with Olde Mill Family Dental, and believing my treatment plan was almost complete, Dr. Jack R. Mercke, DMD surprisingly, and out-of-the-blue, found additional work he told me he needed to perform. Dr. Mercke stopped all work being done on my mouth and refused to do further work until he extorted an additional $5,300 from me, of which I do not have! Dr. Jack R. Mercke, DMD and Olde Mill Family Dental have left me with no means to fix my dental work and, as such, I am unable to eat normally. As it happens, my presumably cemented teeth continue to become dislodged and fall out;… several of the same teeth twice. My partially completed implant stem has come out from its screwed-in position where it is supposedly permanently “implanted” into my jaw! I urge anyone who might be considering visiting Olde Mill Family Dental, to reconsider!

The people who work for Dr. Mercke do a better job than he does when it comes to doing any sort of actual dentistry work. He will come over after his assistants have done a dental cleaning and then poke your gums until their bloody all over. Be weary when going to this place because they'll try to sell you all kinds of different treatments; if I wanted to listen to annoying sales pitches, I'd set up my land line again so that I could get calls from telemarketers. Stay away if you can.
