Dr. Jack Wesley Murbach, MD

Absolutely worst psychiatrist on the planet! Spends most of his time talking about himself. He is a bully!

Dr. Murbach was the first psychiatrist I saw several years ago at the recommendation of a family friend. I knew nothing about therapy or psychiatry but was dealing with anxiety during a stressful time in my life. Within minutes of our meeting he was asking what types of narcotics I would like him to prescribe. Once he had me on strong medication, he was nearly impossible to get into contact with (unsure if things have changed, but he was the scheduler at the time, no employees), but he would not refill my prescriptions without an appointment, which were cash only- no insurance was accepted. Expensive "hour-long" appointments lasted half an hour and consisted of him rambling about everything from his personal life to the government to other patients. He even made disparaging remarks about my homosexuality. I tried reporting him to the APA after a later therapist told me several things he had done (e.g. discussing other patients) were unethical, but I found out he is not APA-licensed. My… time with Dr. Murbach did severely more harm than good. Our time together ended with him saying "send me an email when you want to meet next- if I don't reply, I'm probably too busy and you should just find someone else." I strongly advise against seeing him.

This Dr. opened up a clinic around 10 years ago maybe 12, I saw him because I have chronic pain, disease, was on small dose opiates that I did not abuse. Knowing this, he still placed me on 16 mg of Sunoco do after I took 7.5 hydrocodone 2-3 times daily but I did not know difference in physical dependence vs addiction / abuse. I should have NEVER been placed on this medication!

Dr. murbach saved my life from substance abuse. He took a different approach that was very blunt and firm but also fair. All of it comes from a place of love though. He is an amazing doctor

Dr. Murbach is more than just a doctor. He is a brother in Christ. he like Christ, meets us where we are. In fact I think I am cured I just want to continue seeing him for the fellowship.
