I'm 40 years old and this was my first experience to have a tooth extracted (I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at once that day). To anyone who asks, my answer "piece of cake" thanks to the professionalism of Dr. Nelson and the caring attention of his staff. No pain just a little discomfort, minimum swelling. I dable in at home dentistry myself. Not root canals but extractions, stitches, bondings and alike. Dr. Nelson plucked a huge wisdom tooth out of my mouth and so painlessly that I felt compelled to make another appointment because I felt for the price, I should suffer more. I will let you know how the implants go. I start this week. Seriously , the guy is good, and I hate everyone. Oh, and the wait time was in seconds not minutes. I have been told by two dentists that I needed my wisdom teeth out and I finally decided to do it because I had a big pain in the back of my mouth. I called the office in Southampton and the receptionist was so nice and accommodating. She got me in to be seen that day and when I got there I waited less than 2 minutes and immediately got my x-rays and saw the doctor. He was very friendly and explained what needed to be done. I will admit I was a little scared but before, during, and after the procedure he explained everything to me step by step and made me feel so comfortable that I will only go back to him to get my other teeth pulled. Great staff and excellent work!

condescending, arrogant, rude, and disrespectful.... receptionists tell you they are very busy and hang up on you. I've had 2 experiences here, both in desperation and was treated poorly and disrespectfully both time.

Have had several types of surgery over many yrs. He is perfection! He takes So much care 2 make any surgery painless. Always available 24/7: answers office phone, cell, anytime. I needed 2 have an epigolectemy and flew back from Asia 2 have him perform the surgery. He was waiting in his office 4 me 2 arrive from the airport! He's a miracle surgeon and a very kind and patient human being.

Had to have back Molar extracted, which was broken in half and decaying.. in horrible pain which was radiating to my neck, jaw and ears... Dr nelson took me in immediately to do the procedure. He took his time to explain everything in detail. First time I was ever awake for a procedure and he calmed me down and made me feel relaxed, comfortable and very numb lol. He is very gentle, caring and compassionate, also very generous.... we need more doctors like this in the world who truly care about their patients and who go out of their way to help them when needed.procedure was awesome, I felt absolutely no pain, just slight pressure and i was very comfortable.. he's got such a great sense of humor so he was joking during the whole thing. His wife and staff are also very respectful, pleasant and Compassionate, who also take their time to make sure your comfortable. Prices are reasonable for am oral surgeon, something that I should have payed close to 2000 I only payed in the 100's. ..… traveled an hour and 15 min to see him and i am absolutely glad that i did, it was worth the drive. I highly recommend him, and i will Def refer my friends and family to him.. will absolutely go back for more work, if ever needed. absolutely worth the out of pocket cost, he knows What he's doing, and is a down to earth person, how can u ask for anything more from a Dr?

Dr. Nelson is an exceptional professional who was extremely courteous, understanding and took time in explaining my options. As an emergency patient who was is excruciating pain, red and swollen Dr. immediately made himself available and addressed my infected tooth. I was so relieved and grateful.
