A bunch of grouches.Only spent 10-15 minutes with me

Complete disappointment, long wait, the doctor spoke with me 5-10 minutes and assured me that my concerns would be addressed and I would get a diagnosis to my condition. Several days later a very detached staff member called to say that I was not due for a colonoscopy for another year. I asked if other tests could be done and was told I just had to wait. I have excellent insurance coverage and am absolutely certain there were other tests that could have been done, had this doctor taken the interest. This is what a doctor who assures a patient he would find the source of her pains does? This doctor is am embarrassment to the oath he took to heal to the best of his ability. If you're looking for a caring doctor, I suggest you look elsewhere. I am 70 yrs old and this is the first time I've taken the time to give a negative comment to a doctor. I have respect and appreciation for this practice and have members of my family who are in the medical field, but this was just a totally… bad experience. Among other things, I asked for my medical cards back and was told that they'd be given to me at the end of my visit. When I came out the staff was out to lunch and I had to go outside and wait for the office to reopen after lunch to get my cards back. I was billed $202.00 for a 5-10 minute visit and was the doctor never examined me at all.

I went to Dr Rotenberg for 9 months with intestinal issues. He ran all kinds of test but could not diagnose what the problem was. I lost 30 pounds during this time. I left and took the test results to another dr who immediately diagnosed me with crohns using Dr Rotenberg's test results!
