Dr. Jack Rubin, MD

Beware! This Dr. only cares about money and doesn’t care about his patients! He is known for yelling at other doctors and gets a kickback every time a patient of his ends up in the hospital.

dr. Rubin has been our primary physician for 15 years. If we are sick he will always squeeze us in. He & his staff are friendly, kind & professional. He seeks every avenue to come to an accurate diagnosis & treatment. Our only complaint is the long wait we have every time we do have a scheduled appointment. That does seem the norm nowadays with the complicated insurance provisions that all Dr's. have to consistently sort out & deal with.

My wife saw him in hospital. He told the family he was ordering an ultrasound but failed to write the order. When the nurses tried to reach him the following day (we were told he was the on-call physician), they said he wasn't responding to the page. When we talked with him the next day he simply brushed the experience aside with an "it happens all the time" and, beside, "I wasn't in the hospital yesterday." Poor care (failure to write orders and ensure they are followed) appear the acceptable norm for him. In the end, my wife was kept another night for the purpose of running an additional test. But, the following day, he discharged her before the test results were available for review! Does that mean he is unconcerned with ordering and completing (and, no doubt charging) for unnecessary tests? His last comments on my wife's discharge were delivered to the nurse while Dr. Rubin stood in the hall. He didn't even have the courtesy to come into the room. Not only is he an incompetent… health care provider, he's not respectable as a man.

Average wait 2 hours to 3 hours is not excuse for such a lengthy waiting, I make my mothers appointments with 2 months in advance !! when finally Dr Ruben sees us, he is in and out of the office always in a hurry, his stuff is unfriendly and extremely Rude.. I donâ??t recommend Dr Ruben to anybody .

my husband Ray Womack went to doctors for yearshe had very high blood pressure like 300 he was diabetic.Ray went to a lot of doctors none of them were able to bring down his blood pressure.We found dr Jack Rubinhe took his time with Ray and was able to bring his blood pressure down after a month.dr. Dr Rubin takes time with his patients he cares about his patients,I have never met a doctor like dr rubinif I could I would give him the height award possible!!!his staff is also awesome you can tell when a doctor is a good caring doctor not just to his patience but to his staff the same girls have been there for about 15 years that I know of they are great!!!!

I know hes busy, but the wait time is unbearable and his office staff are horrible. Your just a number at this office and they could care less if its a life threntening emergency

negligent, incompetent, and uncaring. Bad choice for a doctor. You keep the doctors in business and they have your lives in their hands. Choose carefully and this doctor is not the right one. Has a medical board action.

I am surprised by the low ratings I found here for Dr. Jack Rubin. I have seen Dr. Rubin for close to ten years and he is a marvelous doctor in many ways. He is caring, kind, patient, and puts patient's interest first. He is generous with his time, and always listen to your concerns. Once I had a sudden medical condition during a weekend, he made time to see and treat me in his office. He gave me excellent advice, and kept me healthy seven years after my kidney transplant. I have seen many doctors and Dr. Rubin is definitely at the top of my list.

This doctor is in a hurry, uncaring, and has very poor listening skills. He is not a good choice.
