Very precise does not rush through the appt very happy with my visit

I am writing this narrative to express my appreciation for Dr. Jack Rush's care over the past twenty years. Dr. Rush works in Clayton, NY and specializes in Family Medicine. He started his practice in the 1980's after graduating from the University of Chicago School of Medicine. Dr. Rush is associated with River Hospital and the Samaritan Medical Center in the beautiful 1000 Islands and Adirondacks regions of northern New York State. I first met Dr. Rush in my professional life while working, here in the north country, with the developmentally disabled (DD) population. Dr. Rush actually made house-calls to a DD individual. And I believe, he literally saved this man from institutionalization and an early death. I said to myself, "I have to get this doctor as my primary care physician", and now all these years later I am so glad I did. In my opinion, Dr. Rush is an excellent family practitioner which is a physician who specializes in caring for individuals of all ages and at all… stages of life. Rather than focusing on the treatment of one disease or patient population, Dr. Rush is often the doctor that I see for my everyday ailments, like the cold and flu or respiratory infections, and routine health screenings. Dr. Rush has been providing excellent care for my chronic health conditions for all these years now. And when necessary, Dr. Rush has provided referrals for conditions that we feel require the expertise of another specialist. He is a strong and articulate advocate for his patients. As I said previously, Dr. Rush has been my family physician for many years. In my humble opinion, he is devoted to his practice, has compassion and takes the time to explain any questions I have fully. In addition he is kind, gentle-mannered and such a wonderful individual. We have indeed been so very fortunate to have Dr. Rush in our small town area, when he could have easily had a large practice in a city, if money was his motivation. Thank you Dr. Rush for your dedication to your patients.

Dr. Rush has been our family physician for many years. He is devoted to his practice, has compassion and takes the time to explain any questions fully. In addition he is kind, gentle mannered and a wonderful person. We have been very fortunate to have Dr. Rush in our small town when he could have easily had a huge practice in a large city.
