Dr. Jack Avak Tertadian, MD

I have had Dr Tertatian has my primary care doctor for about 12 years. He is a no nonsense, very intelligent doctor. His direct, honest, approach may turn some people off, however, he has clearly worked to improve his bedside manner in recent years and it shows. Very good at explaining medical issues and does not judge at all. I appreciate his intelligence, solid educational/professional background and honesty. He is a "smart" guy per nurses at his practice. If you appreciate skill, knowledge and honesty, you will not go wrong with this doctor.

Dr. Tertadian was my primary care physician for a few years when I realized I was not getting the care I should have been. I told him of my concern regarding muscle and joint pains and his response was “We have no cure for aches and pains.” After changing physicians, I was tested and diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. My rheumatologist told me I may have had this for as many as 10 years! I have experienced tendon and ligament tears and sciatica, among other things that I am told can be related to my previously undiagnosed rheumatoid arthritis. I think Dr. Tertadian needs to actually start listening to his patients.

I've been a patient of Dr Tertadien for 3 years. I'm surprised at some of the other reviews, because I've had the opposite experience. At every appointment he has taken time to listen to all my concerns and discuss options. My previous Dr could barely spend 5 minutes before rushing me out the door. Dr Tertadien made recommendations, in a professional manner, but was not pushy. He seemed to have my best interests at heart.

no sense of humor. Doesn't listen. VERY JUDGMENTAL. couldn't care less about the person, just entering information into his computer. Too bad, the nursing staff was very nice. Arrogant. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Unfriendly. dismissive. treated patient like dirt. Also told me he was unable to treat many things that my previous PCP had addressed. Super skiddish. then was also bullying meany to another doctor who was paging him. I feel sorry for whomever was on the other side of that page. Then practically yelled at me to make another appointment. I will not be.

Wish I would've did my homework before seeing this doctor. I will not be returning. The reviews by other posters pretty much sums it up. He did his dictation for his notes in front of me, has little to no tact, talked down to me, and seemed very stressed out. After my experience and reading similar experiences I am shocked Lakeshore keeps him on board. Yikes.

ARROGANT- RUDE-UNPLEASANT and any other word to describe possibly the MOST HORRID professional I've ever meet. asking questions is a absolute no with him because he straight out tells you your going to give him anxiety and patients like you are the reasons practices don't accept new patients I really in truly can't believe that his practice just doesn't get rid of him . I only wish I had read these reviews before I wasted my value time

He is very arrogant and very disrespectful. Not at all what you would expect from a professionaldoctor.

This doctor is very rude and unprofessional.

I found him to be very tense, unpleasant and uneasy to talk to . He was very aggressive in his manner and belittled me - He didn't care to hear anything I had to say about with what was going on with my health concerns and spoke over me. Worst experience I have ever had with a Doctor.

Dr. Tertadian is the absolute worst doctor with whom I have ever had dealings. He is arrogant, rude, and unhelpful. He seems to possess no empathy toward his patients, and he verbally belittles those who depend on him for medical advice and assistance. His level of unprofessionalism and self-importance is outrageous. In my opinion as a patient who will never see him again, I do not think he should be practicing medicine.
