Dr. Jack Jyh-Perng Wu, MD

I have had a good experience working with Dr. Wu. He has been able to explain the rationales for the medication changes ahead of time and give me choices. I enjoy our visits.

I have been going to Dr Wu for six months and I have been very happy with the results. Dr Wu quizzes me every time about the names of the medications I am on and the dosages. From the get go he explained what the purposes of the medications are for and what the dose ranges are like so I feel very comfortable. The only complaint is that he is out of network for me and it can get pretty expensive.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wu for three years. It took about a year before we found the right medication combinations together. Once I got on the right combination, everything has suddenly become easier. His office is fairly efficient. I have enjoyed our visits over the years.

He was the only Dr. available on Christmas Eve when I needed him urgently. But he was as cold and heartless like a snow stone. He should not be a doctor, a butcher may be. I see Medical board has revoked his license and he is on probation. He should not be allowed to practice.

When he came back after 3 months, he said he wasn't taking my insurance any longer.

I've been seeing Dr. Wu for a few months now and he is a great psychiatrist! He is a great listener and has the art of explaining the pros and cons of each medication or talk about issues. He is very friendly, always on time (never waited more than 5 minutes for my appointment), and has a nice clean office. I've visited both his Encino and Century City offices and they both have very affordable parking. His support staff is wonderful, extremely friendly and efficient with their reminders.

doesn't work with the family as he states on his site. Guesses and over medicates. Has given medically wrong information.
