Dr. Jackie Lynn Graham IV, MD

Regarding the patient who was upset about the political banter on the walls:1) Dr. Graham's office is privately owned therefore he can post whatever he likes.2) I visit his office every three weeks for treatment and have read everything on the walls. If you would have taken the time to really read any of it you would have seen that it is NOT racially charged one bit. Every word of it is regarding the President's morals and values, not the color of his skin. I am so tired of hearing that because I did not vote for the President and do not agree with any of his legislation that I am racist. I could not care less what color his skin is. It is his absurd legislation, disregard for human life and enabling of those who do not work that disgusts me. I have a two year old and am so fearful for his future in this country. President Obama is setting us up to fail. 3) Dr. Graham loves America and is deeply saddened by what has become of his beloved country. By posting information regarding the… President, he was trying to inform voters so they could make the best decision when heading to the polls. 4) Dr. Graham has been a devoted Dermatologist to the people of this area for over 30 years and has decided to lighten his patient load. I, for one, think he deserves it. I know for a fact that he hates that his patients have to wait so long to get an appointment, but that's just how it is. 4) Dr. Graham is one of the most brilliant men on this planet. He is far from losing it. (The mere mention of this made me chuckle.)5) I am sorry that someone felt the need to publicly bash Dr. Graham but it's okay with me because he is much too busy to deal with small minded people and that's one less patient I have to fight with to get an appointment with the great doctor.

Booked my appointment end of June. I had to wait 3 months to get in to see him. My husband took off work to go with me. We traveled 75 miles for this initial appt. When we arrived there were political posters on the door & the entry foyer. Which were nothing compared to what was inside. The walls were literally covered in Politically charged racist comments from one side of the room to the other, including the door which you had to pass through to be seen by the dr. I found it so offensive I could not sit in the lobby any longer. Visibly shaken told the receptionist we were not keeping the appointment because of all the disturbing political matter all over the walls. I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism before. The level of obsessive, offensive, and racist political literature caused me concern for the man's level of integrity and respect for patients coming in his office. I could no longer sit in that office viewing the hatred displayed on the walls. It is easy to… see why he is retiring, or has scaled down his work schedule. He's losing it!

He is fast, very pleasant and effective.

The only reason it's hard to get an appointment is because Dr. Graham is semi-retired, seeing patients only 2-3 days per week. If you're scheduled for regular checkups, no problem, and he always sees you again on time for any follow up appointments. I won't see anyone else until he retires completely, and then will go to Albuquerque, Dr. Graham is the only good dermatologist for hundreds of miles.
