Dr. Jackie Costello Johns

I went to a dentist called Jackie John’s after my 2 front crowns broke while I was eating something. He took x rays before he touched my teeth and after he put a temp crown in. He did not take an x ray after my full procedure was done. The same day I had my last procedure I was screaming and crying in his chair because of the pain he was putting me through. After the procedure was done on my ride home I looked in the mirror and noticed my teeth were extremely loose. I called the office immediately and they told me to turn around and come back. I came back sat in the chair and showed the dentist how loose it was and he agreed. He started tugging on my loose teeth as hard as he could that I started screaming and crying again and he said well their loose but their not going to come out. And I told him but there loose! So fix it I didn’t come in with loose teeth and he told me that in time my teeth will soild up. After he saw me crying he told me to take my pain medicine when he never… wrote me a script!! The most unprofessional rude dentist I’ve ever been too that’s TRAUMATIZED ME. That was 2018 it’s 2021 and my teeth are still exactly the same way. LOOSE When I told him what he did and what happened he got really hostile and rude and said he didn’t do it. If it wasn’t for the X-ray he took today I would of never seen the damage he did. He kept being denial and kicked me out the office. I would like to sue him immediately before someone else has to go through this. I don’t know how he’s still open with all the malpractice cases he already has open. If anyone goes here and experienced this contact me. He needs to get shut down! I never in my life had horrible dentist work.

I chipped my tooth and went to him to have a temporary tooth$(250.00) put on till I was able to have it fixed by my normal dentist however the temporary tooth came out 15 minutes after my appointment so I went back in and he yelled at me and said it was my fault, then proceeded to apologized to me for being rude and yelling. That was at 9:00 am I didn’t eat anything all day scared my temporary was going to come out. 5:00pm rolls around and I’m starving so I eat some soft mushy fries on the opposite side of the temporary Tooth. My daughter called and asked him how long is the temporary should last and he screamed and insulted her and insinuated that he was sorry that I couldn’t comprehend how to eat. And that’s what happens when you’re cheap and that we should be thankful for him coming in on a Sunday. He is a complete disgrace to the whole dentistry field and it’s a shame someone like him is still in business treating people the way he did.

Dr. Jackie Johns is simply professional. He is personable and will take good care of you if you're a patient.

This doctor is the most unprofessional doctor that I've ever been to in my entire life. Not only is he rude to his staff but he curses them out in front of patients. His quality of work is also subpar. He hurts your mouth intentionally and spills novacaine on your lip and mouth and other parts of your body without even wiping it off. He's very rough and always seems mad. I have been there multiple times and the last time was it. He doesn't keep good records. Every time I go I have to tell him what was done before. Go at your own risk.

Office staff is nice. This is all I have to say at this time.

I have osteoporosis and there should of not been any in plats in my mouth . I was bleeding and he left me with this girl .Thank God she knew what to do or I could of blooded to died, I was in shock and getting in my car to forest hill with is a 15 min ride I don't remember getting home. I had my husband come every time I went to him . He is a horrible person and dentist I had to go to a surgeon Dr Muck and he took all my inplants and teeth out after. Than I had to go to another dentist and that cost me another amount of money . Do not go to him he will hurt you and he is not clean . I ended up going to so many doctors then and trying to get rid of green going from my mouth and not understand why I got so sick...

My daughter was in great pain when she texted her father and I Friday afternoon at 4:08 pm. His 24-hour emergency practice was a blessing. He and his staff were efficient and friendly.

I had a tooth that needed extracted on a Sunday evening. The pain was unbearable and it had to be done asap. With no insurance or dentist my wife found Dr. Jackie Johns and got me into the office within the hour. The procedure was fast and painless. The extraction healed up great and I haven't had an issue since. Highly recommended!

I when to Dr Jackie Johns to get a second opinion; after visiting another dentist who told me I had gum disease. Which would cause me to loose all my teeth so best to extract them. He told his staff take x-rays which she did, but was having difficulty getting one particular angle mainly because of me. She instructed me to bit down on the device she placed in my mouth but I couldn't because it was too uncomfortable to do so. This prevented her from getting the shot he wanted. He got upset rudely told her he would do it himself which he didn't. After looking at my x-ray he out right called me a liar. Multiple times he asked me " you sure your are not lying"- about what you said concerning the other dentist. I became so angry inside that this arrogant man thought it appropriate to call me a liar in front of his staff. I am thankful he went on to explain that yes I do have gum disease but it is treatable and I don't have to extract my teeth. But I still can not get over how incredibly… rude and disrespectful he was to me and his staff. I can not speak to his skills as a dentist because I had no work done there except for xray. But as a person this man is horrible human being. If you don't care about how you are treated are spoken to and respect and common human decency don't mean a lot to you them this is the right person.
