Dr. Jackson Chia-Sheng Chen, MD

So I called to ask one single question. Started off automated and pressed option #1 . Waited 23 minutes with no acknowledgement from a live person. I called back and pressed option #3... Waited 16 minutes. Can someone at least tell me they will be right with me or something? Thanks anyway. I'll find a PCP that responds quicker.

I saw Dr. Chen because my usual doctor didn't accept my new insurance. Read some poor reviews online and was apprehensive about seeing this new doctor. The staff was friendly and the receptionist scheduled my appointment promptly, because I was sick, even though I had never seen Dr. Chen before. He was knowledgeable, courteous & my experience with him was excellent. I will continue to use him for myself & my children. The negative reviews were definitely FALSE. My experience was excellent, with both the doctor, PA & all office staff.

Dr. Chen is a very good doctor and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new family doctor. He spends quality time with you and never leaves any question unanswered. He is a wonderful doctor!

Years ago my mom passed away but when she was in the hospital he saw her at least four times a day talked with the Dr who was gonna do surgery to see if he approved when she passed he said if there was anything I needed to call my moms brother called to ask him questions he was not rude but caring I still see him cause I trust and respect him as when my dad was ill all the Dr's who saw him misdiagnosed him

I cannot get an appointment when I am sick.

im not sure what the negative reviews are about. i have been a patient of dr chen's for the past 14 years and dont have one negative thing to say about him. i always do my research before i see him for a particular illness and he has always been spot on. on my very first visit to him i inquired about a lump in my throat which had been dismissed by my previous dr. he immediately knew what it was and made the proper referral to an excellent physicain who quickly diagnosed my cancer. he has always been very courteous and takes the time to discuss both medical and personal issues and genuinely shows an interest in me as a person. yes he does have a receptionist who can be rude at times but she has always followed up on my requests and generally does her work well, you just have to know how to handle her. he is harmless.

If you want to go to a Dr. who does not care and does the basic test. this is the one for you. If you want to know what is really wrong with you see someone else.. He does not care about the health of his patients nor does he do the correct test to get a real diagnosis. Also if you do see him make sure you go behind and get your procedures authorized by your insurance .. you need to do the work,. his office staff is worthless they do not care about his patients..

Dr. Chen has always made the time to talk to me about any concerns that I have experienced. His explanations for medical issues have always been crystal clear. I have nothing but praise for the service he has provided me.

The doctor does not seem interested in either educating the patient about his illness or prevention. The impression the doctor and the office staff give is that they have more important things to do than attend to your health needs.

While Dr. Chen is a very nice man, his examination is a joke. It exits of him listening to your chest for 15 sec. He never checks anything. The rest of the visit is spent asking if you need refills. I have multiple health problems and I have to beg for routine blood tests to monitor. If you are not ill, he can handle you, but don't expect anything if you have serious conditions.
