My visit began with a student who was incredibly professional and compassionate-someone clearly in medicine for the right reasons. She was thorough, attentive, and made me feel heard. That tone was carried forward, as always, by my primary provider, Jaclyn Hughley. I cannot overstate how grateful I am for her. She listens with care, never rushes, and respects the way I think through health decisions. I ask a lot of questions, and she never treats them as inconvenient. Instead, she supports me in navigating both physical and mental health, always with dignity and compassion. She understands that healthcare is personal, not just procedural.Both providers exemplified what medicine should be: human, thoughtful, and rooted in relationship. I worry about the impact corporate structures are having on care like this. While tech and data may enhance treatment, they can't replace genuine human connection. Providers like Jaclyn are the reason I continue to engage with the system at all.
