Dr. Jacob Charles Coleman, MD

I saw Dr. Coleman for an initial sleep study which caused him to prescribe a bi-pap device. Due to my size (+400 lbs) the pressures were very high. I lost a significant amount of weight. This resulted in the pressure being too high for my current need. When I went back to Coleman he told me I needed another sleep study. I balked at the idea (about 6 months after my initial study) as it was very costly. When I informed him that i was not in favor of that approach he told me he could "always do a tracheotomy". I was not amused. He is too much in love with the technical side of his practice without having a feel for the practical side. I did not return. I would not recommend this Dr.

Dr. Coleman was very professional and explained everything thoroughly. I had Afib and apnea and now I don't after seeing him and having my sleep study done. He provided excellent care!

First visit and he was very patient and professional.
