Dr. Dean Currently Is Setting His Own Standards And Rules!!!.....Ma king False Statements On My Medical Charts Which Will Ultimately Impact My Career Of 15 Yrs....Action Will Be Taken To Stop His Malpractice And Negatively Impact Anyone Else!!!

During a recent trip to the Gulf Coast, I experienced a jellyfish sting leading to anaphylactic shock. To schedule an impromptu dr's appointment can take weeks in many cases, leaving patients with few choices other than the ER or local Urgent Care center. Additionally, physicians at these locations are usually not as familiar with patients as is their family dr. I called Dr. Dean's office and was greeted with kind, prompt, and courteous service. I was immediately given an appointment that very afternoon! The entire staff was as warm and helpful as the receptionist (Erin) had seemed via phone. It's comforting to know that we have such a facility in our area.

Very poor attitude and If you refuse his recommendations on Medicine or treatment your are refused further treatment by him or his staff. Especially if you are with Type 2 Diabetes.

Dr Dean is very warm and understanding, he has changed my life forever. He did not have to treatment I needed, but he knew where to send me and I am doing great. I would recommend him 100%.

A few years ago, my dad went in because he had an excruciating headache for several days, couldn't stand/ didn't have any balance when his feet, was hearing ringing in his ears, and was having problems with his vision. He'd been in bed for 3 days before my mom finally convinced him to go to the doctor, and Dr. Dean was absolutely no help. He asked if my dad had a history of migraines, and when my dad told him no, Dr. Dean prescribed him migraine medicine anyway with no further questions. My dad didn't take the medicine because he knew it wasn't a migraine, and thank God. The next day my dad went to the ER, found out a blood vessel or vein had ruptured and was bleeding into his brain stem. Taking the migraine medication would have thinned the blood and prevented clotting, which is what kept my dad's involuntary functions (breathing, heartbeat) from being affected. I'm not saying that Dr. Dean should have known exactly what was happening, but his lack of concern, questioning, and trust… in the patient report could have very serious consequences. I wouldn't recommend him, and my entire family has since switched doctors.

Me and my family had been seeing Dr. Dean for over 3 years (from the time he open his first office in enon). We stopped go for 2 reasons, first if we came in with more than one aliment Dr. Dean would state that we'll deal with this aliment then you can come back and deal with the other. Second was when i showed up for my appointment 10 mins. early and was handed a paper that stated that if you where more than 10 mins. late for your appointment you would be charged your co-pay and the Dr. may not see you, well i had to wait 1 hour passed my appointment time to see the dr. i never went back.

I wish I had looked for reviews before seeing Dr. Dean. After seeing him only a few times, and being very disappointed with him, I decided to do a little research. Better late than never, right? I ended up wasting months, and $hundreds in co-pays + lab fees before I found out he mis-diagnosed me. I did finally receive the correct treatment from another doctor and within a week I started to improve. Putting his competence issues aside, he's really not a nice person. He is rude, and he thinks he knows your symptoms better than the patient. Basically he is not easy to talk to, especially about personal important health issues. He frequently interrupted me while I was trying to answer his questions. Also, several times he told me I wasn't feeling the symptoms I was there to report. My current doctor said that even a med student should have been able to figure out what was going on inside me, and Dr. Dean probably just wasn't paying attention while treating me. Being sick because… my body wasn't working right is scary enough, I didn't need a Dr. Dean to make it worse. In short, he's argumentative, and not the least bit helpful at all. Even on little details that don't matter, he likes to argue. And he's ALWAYS right, no matter what. The first time I saw him I thought he seemed like a narcissistic teenager. Out of 3 times when the insurance company, the pharmacy, or another Dr. needed him to review or sign something it took him weeks to do it all 3 times. One particular form the insurance company needed, he never did complete after they asked for it over 5 months. He's incredible in the worst possible way. To be fair, I've talked with a friend who sees him and she seems to like him. The only thing she sees him for is her sugar. If you're looking for a doctor, you're probably better off skipping Dr. Dean. PS- In credit to his staff they were very nice to me every time I was there. I heard one nurse tell another that she shouldn't make him mad today. It seemed like he made the office a tense working environment for staff as well as patients.
