Dr. Jacob Dominik, MD

Dr. Dominik is an outstanding physician. He is brilliantly adept at diagnosing sleep issues. I am a much healthier man being in his care.

Perpetually late and horrible bedside manner

My first couple visits with him were fine, but after telling him I felt like a treatment wasn't working and actually making me feel worse he disregarded my symptoms and just kept saying "according to the print outs of your data it is". I reminded him I wasn't data , but a person that was feeling worse. This is when he resorted to scare tactics and unethical behavior. He even told me to stop taking a medication prescribed by another dr before I even met him. I later found out that stopping that medication suddenly could have caused seizures (and he said nothing about weaning off of it). He was also consistently late with my appointments and even running 25 minutes behind when I was the 1st appointment of the day (but he charged my insurance company as if he had spent that time with me and boosting it into another tier). After he became pretty nasty because I wouldn't be bullied into his treatment I won't be going back.

He told me my take home test was inconclusive and said that I needed an in-lab test. Tuns out the take home test was actually negative, not inconclusive, and that information was falsified to get the insurance to pay for the in-lab test. Scam to be paid for unnecessary medical test.
