Dr. Jacob A. Klapper, MD

I wouldn't recommend Dr.Jacob Klapper to anyone at all. He is truly short in responses when you ask him a questions. He supposed to be skilled but he's lack of answering what should be simple questions to a doctor seem to indicate that he is lacking knowledge and skills. He would say I would heal in due time. He done surgery on me 6 months ago and I'm still in pain. I wasn't having pain in my abdomen before he did my surgery. It unbearable he also said that after my surgery he need to keep an eye on my progress for one year. That was a lie I return for a recheck my incisions had a lot of swelling and develop fluid in my right lung. This doctor and his team started yelling at me like I was a dog. My brother said why are all of you yelling she's sick. So no I wouldn't recommend this man to any one at all.

Dr Klapper performed major surgery to remove my cancerous esophagus with great success! This man,I feel, saved my life! He was in my room every day during recovery and always spent as much time as needed to explain anything I asked. I can,t say enough to express how thankful I am to him. Bless you Dr. K.

I took my father to meet with Dr Klapper today, and we were both quite impressed with his willingness to come into the room and sit down and answer our questions without being in a hurry at all. He seemed genuinely concerned about my fathers level of care during his melanoma treatment including what the upcoming surgery would involve. By the time we met with the oncology department less than 2 hours later he had already taken the time to personally meet with oncology to map out an agreed upon plan for the best option for treatment. Dr Klapper went over and above to ensure our questions were answered and that we both were at ease with the treatment decision. Would highly recommend this Dr to a friend.

I feel that Dr. Klapper saved my life. He is a wonderful doctor/surgeon and I thank him each time I see him.

I would not recommend this doctor. He walks around with a better than now swagger that doesn't end with his walk. He is short in responses when you ask questions. He is truly arrogant and seems to think he walks on water. He is rude and obnoxious and will deny factors of your loved ones health even though you personally witnessed something happen. This doctor scares the nurses at the hospital. They will not disagree with him even when they know the patients history or needs are different than what the doctor has ordered. The nurses will agree with you without words that the doctors mannerisms are very inappropriate. It is clear to see that he intimidates them and he tries to do the same to his patients and their families. He will flat out refuse to answer simple questions. He supposed to be skilled but his lack of answering what should be simple questions to a doctor seem to indicate that he is lacking knowledge and skill. He demeanor is almost like a drug addict in search of their… next drug. He is very fast and jumpy and hasn't time to explain himself. He is rude, obnoxious, and acts as though he couldn't care less about you or your thoughts. Do not use this man. You will I would not tire commend this doctor.
