I have a high risk pregnancy due to IC and a cerclage in place. Went for a check up and he was on call. He barely spoke to me and proceeded to do a manual test to check on my cerclage without any previous explanation or instruction on what he was going to do, especially since it was a procedure I was under the impression I could not do due to my IC and cerclage. He made me extremely uncomfortable and had zero beside manners. After that, just left and said I was fine with no further details. Made my experience a terrible one and only made me more nervous about my situation. Literally do not want to return to the Women’s Pavillion bc of my experience with him.

We went to a non stress test at my 39wks pregnancy due to the reduced movements of the baby. Dr. Kowenski was on call that time, it was not busy at all. He came in and talked to us for ten seconds, and 5 out of the 10 seconds was associated with his loud cell phone ring. He told me that I am fine and will be discharged in ten min, rushed out to answer the phone call, never came back, do not care whether I hear him correct or had any questions. When we left, he was talking to his colleagues and did not look like he was talking about anything serious.
