Dr. Jacob Keenon Labahn, MD

Would not recommend based on personal experience with him as my doctor.

I hate going to the Doctor ! Dr. Labahn changed my mind , he is a very intelligent and caring Doctor who explained everything he was doing and why. Dr Labahn even followed up with me to make sure I was getting the care I needed. He is truly amazing Doctor !

If you have something going on and can't seem to find a doctor who will sit in a room with you for an hour and a half and explain things to you, answer your questions and literally just engage In a professional conversation and someone who listens I can tell you Dr lebahn is the man!! I've been dealing with chronic pain in my pelvic area due to endometriosis and everytime I see him he's real sympathetic and does everything he can to make sure I'm comfortable as possible and gives me hope that one day I will get better unlike my obgyn lol. He literally works on faith and not many doctors today are not as caring, understanding and professional as he is and I would recommend him to anyone for anything! My fiancé and I both love him because he's genuine when it comes to helping his patients any way possible!

I had my son 8 years ago, and during residency, before Labahn was certifiedMD he handled most of my pregnancy, health and delivery as obgyn (I'm sure one of the many medical fields required during residency) i've always known how exceptional he was in giving the best care back then while being very professional and caring toward the health of my son. But not until almost a decade later and all the horror stories of gyno visits and doctors that pull the professional card, yet still seem off or creepy, male but even female gynos (i usually prefer) have horror stories. Not until my experiences as an adult a decade later do I realize what a blessing it was for me to have doctor Labahn as the care provider for my child, and first child at that. I believe there should definitely be more reviews on here than one but I know first hand even if you're very satisfied, people get busy. I had a recent horror story which really made me value when I had Labahn and felt it a must to write a review but… I now reside in Austin so I can't drive to San Antonio for care. Take advantage of the good care accessible if you're in san Antonio (hometown) highly recommend.

Dr. LaBahn is the best doctor I have ever known. He is very caring and takes time to talk with me about my concerns. I would recommend him to any friend or family member.
