Dr. Jacob Laubach, MD, MPP

My daughter received improper information and was told she would not receive treatment today because the doctor wanted to discuss it. After an hour and a half drive and the same time in the waiting room, he as not available to see her and she was told by a nurse "I don't know why you are here today." How about for her scheduled treatment and chemo?!!! It has become painfully obvious that we are not in the right place and the Doctor has a problem handling his patient load. It is also not the first time we had a wasted trip to Boston because this office has communication issues. Never mind that two people had to take a day out of work, again, for a wasted trip. Not impressed and we expected a higher level of care.

I remember the day my mom was diagnosed with cancer and we had a family meeting with the doctor's and one of the doctors said my mom had 6 months to a year and i walked out the room crying Dr Laubach came out and talked to me and said God has the final answer that made me feel so much better. My mother was hospitalized almost every other month and wouldn't do or take any other medications without Dr Laubach's approval. He visited my mom right before she passed and we all prayed that was very heartfelt. He is a very caring Doctor and to me that is so helpful and Supportive. Dr. Laubach is very open minded and up to date on treatment options. I have done extensive reading about my Multiple Myeloma and anytime I anytime I bring up a subject or new treatment options or articles that I have read, he is already well aware of these. He is awesome!

Just today I visited with Dr. Laubach at Dana Farber Cancer Institute on a referral for consultation, from my doctor in my home city. Multiple myeloma was the reason I wanted to be seen by the best in this field. My wife and I were not disappointed. I don't think you could ever find a doctor that exceeds Dr. Laubach in knowledge, compassion and has the ability to talk in an understandable manner that a layman feels comfortable with about such a serious subject as a blood cancer. I wouldn't hesitate to refer any family or friend, if they found themselves having multiple myeloma, to seek out treatment or at least a consultation with this fine doctor.

Dr Laubach is an exceptionally professional caregiver who I went to see for a second opinion and consultation for possible treatment of my existing cancer. He was referred by my attending physician in another state. He explained my situation in a forthright and comprehensive manner and provided a clear detailed explanation of my treatment options. Based on what I had researched, I felt very comfortable with his prescribed course of treatment.

Dr. Laubach is a fantastic Doctor! He takes the time to really listen to you and answers all the questions you may have. I've even e-mailed him a few times and he responds within the day. He truly cares about your well being. I actually look forward to my follow up appointments with him.

Dr Laubach is the most compassionate and caring physician that I ever encountered and I have dealt with many. I actually look forward to my appointments with Dr Laubach This Physicain even calls me at my home in the evening to report on test results and to give me good news on my test results. I recommend Dr Laubach to anyone with Multiple Myeloma which is his specialty. You will never find a better doctor who will take better care of his patients than he does.

Dr Laubach is awesome. He saved my life and continues to be attentive, supportive and interested in my progress. If you are looking for an oncologist he is the best.
