Dr. Thomas Dong
Thomas Dong graduated from University of Pacific (UOP) School of Dentistry in 1987. He received his undergraduate degree in neurobiology from UC Berkeley in 1984. He has been in private practice in family dentistry for over 20 years and has been practicing orthodontics since 2002. He is a current member of the ADA and SACDS. He is also an active board eligible member of the American Academy of Gnathologic Orthopedics (www.AAGO.com) and has trained under the renown AAGO diplomate member Dr. Jack Hockel. Dr. Dong enjoys treating patients of all ages- from pediatrics to geriatrics. Through his training with AAGO, he especially enjoys using less invasive, more holistic, preventive approaches to treating teeth crowding and jaw alignment (over bite and under bite) especially in younger children.
Dr. Dong was born and raised in the Bay Area. He enjoys playing tennis, cooking and teaching communication. He resides in the East Bay with his wife and children.
