It is really hard to find a good neurologist. Especially one who specializes in MS. I do find him rushed at times and when I have a question I write to him, because he had told me to at one time, but he told me to discuss it in clinic. I have a hard time finding a ride because I live in NH and have to find a ride each time. But, although it seems he doesn't want to discuss a treatment with me -he says we will discuss it in clinic and then we don't He is very personable and has a great bedside manner. I do like him out of the three neurologists I saw before him.

I've always found Dr Sloane's a caring physician who always goes the extra mile for me, and I highly recommend and appreciate him. He treats his patients with respect and a concern. You aren't just a patient, you're a person.

I was diagnosed with Remitting-Relapsing M.S. 9 years ago, and Dr. Sloane is the fourth neurologist I have gone to since that time. The first doctor who diagnosed me did not specialize in M.S., so I searched for another doctor. The second and third doctors were not to my liking for various reasons, but Dr. Sloane has been the best doctor for me so far. He spends an adequate amount of time during my apts., he is very thorough, he explores different approaches to helping me with my symptoms, and above all, he listens to what I have to say. I only have good things to say about Dr. Sloane and his staff.

He's a good doctor, he's knowledgeable, but not very interested in the individual or their concerns. He has left a few things out when we meet for checkups (including test results) and isn't very open minded to alternatives in discussion. While he does do a good job he rushes, and doesn't actually pay attention. I'm sure that the amount of paperwork they have to fill out is overwhelming sometimes, but that shouldn't actually show in how you treat a patient.
